Interestingly, the four-disk non-RAID linear Btrfs file-system setup was the fastest for FIO when conducting sequential writes using libaio with 16KB block sizes.

FS-Mark didn't do a very good job stressing the RAID array with the performance being rather unchanged between the different configurations except for RAID 1 being the slowest.
