With random reads in FIO, the four-disk linear non-RAID setup, RAID 0, RAID 5, and RAID 6 were all the fastest options with RAID 1 performing the same as a single-disk Btrfs file-system and RAID 10 being in between the rest.

RAID 0 was running the best across the four disks for the random write test inside FIO.

RAID 6 was leading the pact of four Intel SSDs in Btrfs RAID for sequential reads in FIO. RAID 6 was followed by RAID 5, RAID 0, and the 4-disk linear setup as the next fastest options.
