If you never looked at the difference between dual or quad channel DDR4 before, it's certainly worthwhile going for the four memory modules. While this is a synthetic test, it's also fun seeing how the DDR4 quad-channel performance evolves with the i7-6800K from DDR4-1600 to DDR4-3000.

The scaling ends up being much more minimal beyond DDR4-2400.
