The Radeon Software 18.50 "PRO" Vulkan driver was also crashing with the F1 2017 racing game while the AMDVLK vs. RADV performance was quite close though the AMDVLK driver seemed to have a few frame advantage if really pursuing the best performance.

With the F1 2018 game that runs on Linux via Steam Play with DXVK, AMDVLK here was causing a lock-up while the 18.50 driver did work fine -- along with RADV, of course. The Mesa 19.0 RADV driver appeared to be in better shape than the 18.50 driver release from December.
