Hopefully these nine AMD Radeon graphics card tests under Ubuntu Linux with the new Catalyst 14.1 Beta Linux graphics driver was of help if you're curious how the recent AMD GPUs are running on Linux for both OpenGL and OpenCL workloads.

Of course, you can compare your own system's performance to the numbers in this article by simply installing the Phoronix Test Suite and then run phoronix-test-suite benchmark 1402126-PL-RADEONCAT14.

Stay tuned to Phoronix for these results complemented by NVIDIA GPUs and other tests in a very interesting Linux hardware review next week where there's also performance-per-Watt and thermal data with these NVIDIA and AMD Linux GPU tests.
