Even when running OpenArena 0.8.8 at 1280 x 1024 on the open-source graphics drivers, the mid-range Radeon HD 4000 series (R700) graphics processors were already being bottlenecked by the dual-core 1.0GHz Kabini APU. The old Radeon HD 3650 was more than twice as fast as the Radeon HD 8210 integrated graphics on the E1-2100.

All of the tested graphics cards were easily CPU bottlenecked when running World of Padman on the AMD E1 Kabini APU system. Why these results are being shown though is that while CPU bottlenecked the Nouveau performance was slightly better than the R600/RadeonSI Gallium3D performance, due to potentially lower CPU utilization.

Running Reaction we finally see some more interesting data.... The Radeon HD 8210 Graphics on the Kabini APU may yield wins on the Gallium3D driver against Catalyst, but its overall performance is very low. The E1-2100 Kabini APU is only interesting for its very low cost and low power envelope. A mid-range Radeon HD 6570 graphics card was more than three times faster than the Kabini graphics, similar to the mid-range HD 4000 series hardware.
