But when running at 4.7GHz in this configuration, there was some sporadic performance when all for modules / eight threads were being maxed out, such as from the pressure placed by C-Ray. At 4.42GHz there was a nice improvement but at 4.7GHz the performance was better on some runs and worse on others.

Even with all available CPU cores busy when being overclocked, the FX-8150 with water-cooling is still operating safely.

Moreover, the power consumption goes up a great deal too.
