Under some workloads Ubuntu 12.10 is faster on the AMD FX-8150 system while in other cases it's noticeably slower than Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS. Stay tuned for some more articles coming out shortly that look at the performance changes in finer detail that narrow down the performance changes to the component/package level.
