For the GraphicsMagick imaging application, no real performance improvements were provided beyond the original Bulldozer "bdver1" compiler tuning with the bdver2 results coming in line with its predecessor. The only potential small performance improvement spotted was using the image blur operation within GraphicsMagick saw a small boost between bdver1 and bdver2 targets.

GCC 4.7.2 as a whole for this program wasn't able to take advantage of FMA3, BMI, TBM, or F16C in any substantive way for this ImageMagick fork.
