With some VP8 and H.264 video encoding, the Athlon 5350 was noticeably faster than the Atom E3825 Bay Trail and the older E-350 and E1-2100 APUs. The Athlon 5350 was about 22% faster than the Atom E3825 for VP8 video encoding while for x264 it was over 70% faster. The Athlon 5350 was 1.5x faster than the E-350 APU for x264. Obviously the Core i3 Haswell and Kaveri APU were faster than the Athlon 5350, but at least this puts the performance into perspective.
