When beginning with Nexuiz, which is perhaps the most demanding open-source OpenGL game. The Radeon HD 6550D with the Catalyst binary driver was just under 60 FPS while the GeForce GT 240 came in slightly ahead at 65 FPS and the Radeon HD 4650 was at 80 FPS. The only slower Radeon graphics card of what was tested was the Radeon HD 5450, which was only putting out 16 FPS. On the NVIDIA side was the GeForce GT 520 averaging out at 22 FPS.

The positioning when running Warsow was similar to that of Nexuiz, except the GeForce GT 240 was much faster relative to the Radeon HD 6550D graphics.

With the OpenGL lighting benchmark, the Radeon HD 6550D graphics outperformed the NVIDIA GeForce GT 240, unlike the previous two benchmarks. The HD 6550D was about three times the speed of the GeForce GT 520, but still failed to compete even with the Radeon HD 4650.
