John The Ripper's performance regresses hard when using this initial Znver2 compiler tuning support.

In a majority of performance-focused workloads, the Znver2 optimized binary is within a few percent of Znver1. Of course for applications with hand-tuned Assembly, the compiler optimizations won't make much of a difference either.

Znver2 did help in some of the GraphicsMagick benchmarks.
