The Python language performance also sees nice uplift compared to the Zen 2 3600X and Comet Lake 10600K.

For looking at renderers including C-Ray, Tachyon, POV-Ray, Yafaray, Blender, Tungsten, Appleseed, Radiance, LuxCore, Smallpt, TTSIOD, and V-RAY were very nice gains for these CPU rendering tests. The Ryzen 5 3600X was already faster than the Core i5 10600K but now with the Ryzen 5 5600X is a 21% generational improvement.

When bunching together all of the scientific computing workloads, the Ryzen 5 5600X even pulls in close behind the Core i9 10900K.

For texture compression with ASTC encoding and Basis, the generational leap is 20%.
