The Basemark Vulkan benchmark did see higher performance for the Radeon RX 6800 series when using the PRO driver over the open-source drivers.

For the VkFFT Vulkan compute benchmark the performance was close between the various Vulkan implementations.

The NCNN Vulkan compute deep learning results were mixed with for some models the AMDGPU-PRO Vulkan driver yielding better performance than the "open" options.

For the Geekbench Vulkan test, the newer Radeon graphics cards were delivering the highest scores on the AMDGPU-PRO driver. The RDNA 1 graphics cards meanwhile were performing the best on the RADV driver.
