The Linux-native OpenGL-rendered HITMAN game was one of the titles where the RX 5500 XT and other Radeon cards come out great. The AMD RadeonSI Gallium3D driver performs very well here. The RX 5500 XT was just ahead of the RX 580 but against NVIDIA is a rare case where the RX 5500 XT can compete with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 series.

With HITMAN 2 that runs on Linux via Steam Play and uses DXVK for translating Direct3D calls to Vulkan, the story is different but at least the RX 5500 XT performance matches that of the GTX 1650 SUPER as it should. The performance was just one frame behind the Radeon RX 580.
