With Team Fortress 2 at 4K, the Radeon R9 290 comes out slightly ahead of the more expensive R9 Fury. With the four tested graphics cards, this popular Source Engine game at 4K was playable using the Catalyst 15.7 driver.

With the current prices of these graphics cards, the Radeon R9 290 comes out with the best performance-per-dollar followed immediately by the R7 370 while the R9 285 was a ways behind and the R9 Fury had half the value of the R9 290.

The R9 Fury, however, delivered the best performance-per-Watt. The average power draw of the system when running TF2 was 121 Watts for the R9 Fury and 135 Watts for the R9 290.

At 1080p, of course, the results for these GPUs were just CPU bound.
