While GraphicsMagick is multi-threaded via OpenMP, it doesn't scale as well with most imaging operations to the 64 threads available on the 2990WX, thus only minor gains. It's important to keep this in mind that your workloads do need to scale well for the Threadripper 2990WX to really show off its full potential.
