The 2P EPYC performance on most of the multi-threaded applications were scaling quite well on Ubuntu 18.10 against the 1P EPYC 7601 baseline.

The ebizzy synthetic server benchmark is one of the cases where AMD EPYC performance comes in incredibly strong against the tested Intel Xeon CPUs with the dual Gold 6138 setup running shy of the EPYC 7401P.

On the Dell PowerEdge EPYC 2P server it's possible to carry out a Linux x86_64 default configured kernel build in under 30 seconds!

Or compiling LLVM takes a little more than two minutes on the PowerEdge R7425.
