The Python performance as measured by PyBench has been one of the areas where Intel has long delivered a small but measurable lead over EPYC Rome while with this single-threaded test the EPYC 7F52 is the first time we are seeing it jump past the Cascade Lake Intel CPUs.

The Python tests with PyPerformance still ended up favoring Cascade Lake Refresh, but the EPYC 7F52 still came in as a measurable improvement.

Similarly, the PHP performance measured by PHPBench puts the EPYC 7F52 about 14% faster than the other EPYC 7002 series CPUs tested.
