AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2920X & 2970WX Linux Performance Benchmarks

When it came to some single-threaded tests like a simple Python benchmark, the Intel CPUs remained ahead of the AMD Zen/Zen+ parts.

The single-thread PHP performance was also faster on the Intel CPUs.

Or similarly for Tesseract, but again this is just a single-threaded, single benchmark test case... If you are running multiple scripts/processes simultaneously, the Threadripper processors will be able to accommodate a lot more than the similar Intel CPUs.
