AMD's Latest Open-Source Driver On Linux Is Getting Competitive With Catalyst 15.7

The open-source Radeon driver stack is running decent these days for Unigine Tropics, but for those on Linux wanting ultimate performance, the Catalyst 15.7 driver is still much faster.

The Xonotic benchmark results at 1080p with ultimate image quality settings were quite promising, especially for the R9 290 Hawaii GPU being closest to parity with Catalyst.

The Furmark synthetic benchmark results were very close between Radeon Gallium3D and Catalyst!
