Is It Worthwhile Running Intel Alder Lake With mitigations=off?
Across various I/O benchmarks, running with mitigations=off didn't yield any measurable advantage for Alder Lake.
While older generations of Intel CPUs saw noticeable overhead with their relevant CPU mitigations when stressing OS primitive operations such as by OSBench, in the case of Alder Lake and the limited scope now of mitigations=off it doesn't really mean much for end-users.
