In the single-threaded FLAC audio encoding test, Clear Linux squeaked by with a first place finish ahead of Ubuntu 17.04.

While for the LAME MP3 encoding test, openSUSE Tumbleweed and Clear Linux were neck-and-neck.

Tumbleweed had another first place victory, this time by a very fine margin with OpenSSL.

While Clear Linux ended up delivering the best PostgreSQL performance by a wide margin when running the PostgreSQL database server.
