Conclusion:

While the Acer AL2223Wd Office 22" monitor had met our expectations, the monitor was not 100% perfect. When it came to the construction of the LCD we would have preferred a larger base, and while the AL2223Wd belongs to Acer's Office series, we would have preferred to see the construction presented by their Prestige series. When it came to the performance its integrated speakers were poor (as almost expected) and there was some bleeding of the backlight on the top and bottom of the display, but other than that this monitor was great. For being a 22" widescreen sub-$300 monitor, the Acer AL2223Wd is really a great deal. While not the best 22" monitor out there, this is a darn good deal.
