I/O performance is also looking good with Clear Linux with it securing another victory, this time in CompileBench.

CompileBench's compile process isn't solely I/O bound, but here the Core i9 7980XE is much faster with Clear Linux while on the dual Xeon Gold system we see Clear Linux having a slight edge.

FS-Mark results also leaned in favor of Clear Linux

SQLite performance is much faster as well on the newer Linux distributions.

With PostgreSQL the results were close between one another with the Tyan Xeon Gold server while Clear Linux squeezed extra performance when running on the Core i9 Extreme Edition system.
