With Serious Sam Fusion 2017, the game ran fine on the HD 5000/6000 series hardware with R600g. But with the HD 4000 series and older, except for the HD 4870, the game would crash at start-up. The game did run fine on the older NVIDIA hardware with their Linux driver, albeit the frame-rates were incredibly low... You pick what you'd rather prefer. The game with high quality settings at 1080p was able to deliver around 60 FPS with the HD 6870 on R600g Mesa 17.2-dev.

Xonotic at 1080p could still run on R600 Gallium3D with hardware back to the HD 2900XT... Fun to see how the performance has evolved from the HD 2900XT to the popular Radeon HD 4800 series to now with the RX 580 and R9 Fury. The newer cards are CPU bound at just 1080p, but still then it makes for interesting look at performance-per-Watt:

The Radeon RX 580 delivers nearly 16x the performance-per-Watt of the once legendary HD 2900XT.
