BIOS:

ECS Elitegroup continues to utilize a Phoenix AwardBIOS template with its motherboard selection. Booting up the ECS C19-A SLI, the main BIOS pages were standard CMOS features, advanced BIOS features, advanced Chipset features, integrated peripherals, power management setup, PnP/PCI configurations, and PC health status. For the most part, the BIOS is pretty ordinary compared against other motherboards employing an AwardBIOS. When it comes to the performance options, there is the PCI Express frequency, FSB Turbo Mode, MEM Turbo Mode, system clock mode, memory timings, addressing mode, CPU voltage control, and DIMM voltage control. The CPU voltage can be increased up to 1.60V, while the maximum memory voltage allowed is 2.20V. On the PC health page, there is a smart fan control option for controlling the FAN1 speed depending upon the starting PWM value, starting temperature value, limit temperature value, and slope select PWM/°C. The voltages displayed were for the CPU Vcore, FSB_VTT, +3.3V, +5V, +12V, and 5VSB. The CPU and system temperature is also displayed. Finally, the fan speeds are displayed for the Northbridge, CPU heatsink, and chassis fan.
