For the open-source, cross-platform Xonotic first person shooter, Windows 10 was faster than most of the Linux distributions tested when at 1080p with low quality settings. But Ubuntu 20.04 and Fedora Workstation 32 both managed to come out ahead.

But when running with the higher quality visuals, the RadeonSI Gallium3D with AMDGPU kernel driver was running faster than Windows 10 with the Radeon Software driver.

Under various OpenGL synthetic test cases like GpuTest, the results tended to be mixed whether Windows 10 was beating out Linux or losing to the open-source operating systems with the free software AMD Radeon graphics driver on Renoir.
