When running Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on Linux, the RX 5700 XT performed better on the Ryzen 9 3900X while the two NVIDIA raphics cards had a small advantage with the Intel CPU.

Even with lighter games such as CS:GO, the Ryzen 9 3900X + X570 desktop led to higher power use.

Dota 2 with OpenGL saw comparable performance between processors with the RX 5700 XT and RTX 2080.

When using Dota 2's Vulkan renderer, the outcome was similar.

But on a performance-per-Watt basis, the Ryzen 9 3900X was trailing with its current power consumption under Linux.
