Examination:

Unlike the Ballistix Tracer modules, which feature an array of LEDs along the top edge of the modules (similar to Corsair's XMS PRO series); the Ballistix modules are quite plain in their appearance. Covering the Micron parts are gold-colored heatspreaders that are composed of aluminum. Silk-screened onto both sides of the heatspreaders is Crucial's web-address (Crucial.com) as well as the Ballistix logo. On one side is a sticker containing the part number (BL6464AA804.8FA) as well as a sticker containing the batch number (CL1115K.9X & CL111NFLC) and part (57169). Concealed behind the gold heatspreaders is a very attractive black PCB. Below are various pictures of these beautiful Ballistix modules.
