Ethr is one of the new networking tests available and is a Golang program written by Microsoft with a focus on Linux and Windows. Unfortunately, compiling Ethr on FreeBSD 12.0 was unsuccessful due to code errors so these benchmark results are just looking at the performance across the nine tested Linux distributions.

For Ethr's HTTP bandwidth benchmarks, Intel's Clear Linux was coming out in front followed closely by Debian 9.6 while openSUSE Tumbleweed was towards the back of the group though not too different from many of the other Linux distributions.

In fact, for many of the Ethr tests, Clear Linux and Debian 9.6 were the front-runners.
