While normally with the 3D renderers we are used to seeing Linux offer noticeably better performance, in the case of the i9-10900K with Appleseed the performance actually sided with Microsoft Windows 10.

For the Blender 3D performance, Ubuntu 20.04 did manage to deliver noticeably better render performance.

Ubuntu was also handling the LuxCore renderer better than Windows on this 10 core / 20 thread Intel CPU.
