1080p/1440p Linux Gaming Performance For Radeon RX 590/Vega & NVIDIA 1060/1070/1080/2060/2070

Dota 2 with Vulkan at 1080p becomes easily CPU bound and on the NVIDIA cards was just a few frames better than the RADV performance.

NVIDIA maintained a small advantage over the Radeon GPUs with Dawn of War III being rendered with Vulkan on Linux.

When running the F1 2017 racing game on Linux, which was ported by Feral Interactive and utilizing Vulkan, the RTX 2060 was 11% faster than the RX Vega 64. The RX 590 meanwhile was 25% faster than the GTX 1060.

The F1 2018 racing game can run on Linux via Steam Play with Proton and mapping Direct3D 11 to Vulkan using DXVK. In this scenario, the RTX 2060 performance matched the GTX 1080, which were 23% faster than the RX Vega 64. The RX 590 here was just 6% faster than the GTX 1060.
