In no time at all, Clear Linux immediately showed it could deliver greater performance than Ubuntu Linux on the Ryzen 9 7950X... Even when Ubuntu was moved to Linux 6.0 and running with the performance governor, Clear Linux 37420 jumped out ahead. In the case of ParaView, Clear Linux was able to close the gap with Microsoft Windows 11.

In OpenJDK Java workloads, the extra tuning by Intel engineers paid off as well with Clear Linux 37420 pulling ahead of the other operating system configurations tested on the Ryzen 9 7950X desktop.
