The Radeon RX Vega Performance With AMDGPU DRM-Next 4.21 vs. NVIDIA Linux Gaming
F1 2018 was tested via Steam Play with DXVK and was just fast enough now thanks to Linux 4.20+ that the performance could match the GTX 1080 when at 4K low quality settings.
With high quality settings and even ultra high quality, the performance boost out of the vRAM improvements with Linux 4.20+ was enough to put the Vega performance in line with the GTX 1070 Ti.
With the aging Metro Last Light Redux OpenGL port, the RX Vega 64 on RadeonSI was still coming in shy of the GeForce GTX 1070.
