But once hitting workloads sensitive to CPU frequency scaling governor differences or where Clear's aggressive CFLAGS/CXXFLAGS compiler flags tuning by default, there can be quite an out-of-the-box difference. While Clear Linux is quick to jump in front, at least Ubuntu 22.10 in its current development snapshot was moving in the right direction compared to Ubuntu 22.04 LTS.
