Ubuntu 21.10 Radeon Gaming With KDE Plasma vs. GNOME Shell + Wayland vs. X.Org

In most of the tests, the performance was very close between GNOME Shell and KDE Plasma along with between the Wayland and X.Org sessions.

In some games though there was still an ever so slight lead for the X.Org-based desktops with this Radeon Linux driver testing.

But the times of seeing large differences in the performance results especially between Wayland and X.Org based desktops appears to be largely over.

KDE Plasma was also keeping pace with GNOME Shell 40 with this Ubuntu 21.10 testing.
