Over the course of dozens of benchmarks, TUXEDO OS based on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS came out slightly ahead of upstream (K)Ubuntu.

With the higher performance came a higher CPU temperature and power consumption in the "default" out-of-the-box profile while via the TUXEDO Control Center one can choose a power-saving profile if wanting to extend their battery life and are less concerned about performance.

Overall though TUXEDO OS in the default profile had slightly better performance-per-Watt than Kubuntu 22.04.1 LTS.
