For OpenJDK Java performance on each platform, Ubuntu 20.10 was delivering faster results on both the AMD and Intel laptops.

For Zstd data compression at the low compression level the performance on Tiger Lake was faster on Ubuntu while for Renoir Windows was leading. But at the highest compression level, the performance between Windows and Linux was even for each laptop.

The dav1d AV1 video decoding results were mixed but generally Tiger Lake on Linux was faster where as Renoir seemed to see greater performance on Windows by wider margins.
