The RADV Vulkan performance has evolved a great deal since 2020, which shouldn't be any surprise to daily Phoronix readers... Even with Navi being quite mature now, there's been much improvement with the RADV Vulkan driver over the past three years.
The RadeonSI Gallium3D driver providing open-source OpenGL support for the RDNA graphics has also advanced a great deal since 2020.
In addition to the gaming performance, even Java OpenGL pipeline usage and other workstation graphics performance have benefited too from the open-source AMD graphics stack enhancements.
