23-Way Graphics Card Comparison With Shadow of the Tomb Raider On Linux
When hitting high quality settings, the RX 580 fell below the 60 FPS threshold while the RX 590 and GTX 1660 were floating above that point. The RTX 2070 SUPER and higher on the NVIDIA side was still delivering above 120 FPS.
When stressing Shadow of the Tomb Raider on Linux with the highest quality visuals, the GTX 1660 SUPER/Ti or higher would yield a playable experience. The RX 5700 continued aligning just with the RX Vega 64 which was just faintly ahead of the RTX 2060. The RX 5700 XT performance nearly matched the RTX 2060 SUPER while the Radeon VII came frames ahead of the RTX 2070.
Those are our initial performance metrics for Feral's Linux port of Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Additional tests in varying driver configurations are forthcoming.
