When running Unigine Valley the R7 260X performance was a few percent faster than the more expensive Radeon HD 7850 while behind the older Radeon HD 6870 and HD 6950 graphics cards. The R7 260X was also still running much faster than the similarly priced GeForce GTX 650 graphics card.

With the open-source Unvanquished game the Radeon R7 260X was running very well for this GL3 game.
