Like with the Ryzen 9 7950X to 7950X3D, the 7900X3D was also faster than the 7900X when running HITMAN 3 on Linux. However, in the case of the 7900X to 7900X3D it was only a few FPS faster...

But where the Ryzen 9 7900X3D and Ryzen 9 7950X3D really shined were delivering their great performance at a much lower power consumption rate than the non-X3D Ryzen 7000 series processors -- or the Core i9 13900K Raptor Lake that consumed the most power of any of the tested processors.

HITMAN 3 is one of the popular titles that runs on Linux by way of Valve's Steam Play to run the Windows version of the game.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive benchmark with settings of Resolution: 2560 x 1440, Renderer: OpenGL. Core i9 13900K was the fastest.

Valve's Counter-Strike: Global Offensive that is native to Linux saw roughly the same performance between the 7900X and 7900X3D while at least with the 3D V-Cache processors the performance was delivered at a much lower power consumption rate.
