RADV Mesa 17.1-dev vs. AMDGPU-PRO 16.60 Performance
When running at 4K, the RadeonSI Mesa 17.1-dev vs. AMDGPU-PRO 16.60 performance was very close for OpenGL.
But the Vulkan performance leaned heavily in favor of AMDGPU-PRO. There's still more work to be done on RADV and these results show there still are improvements AMD could make if they were to open-source their Vulkan driver or at least begin contributing to RADV.
With The Talos Principle, RADV had run into the video mode error mentioned previously, so this is it for the comparison today. Over the weekend some more RadeonSI Mesa 17.1-dev vs. AMDGPU-PRO 16.60 results will be completed.
