Testing The Open-Source "RADV" Radeon Vulkan Driver vs. AMDGPU-PRO
Lastly are some early RADV numbers when testing at 4K.
The OpenGL RadeonSI vs. AMDGPU-PRO numbers remained quite similar at 3840 x 2160...
And with lower CPU utilization for RadeonSI.
RADV when running Vulkan at 4K is still clearly quite slower than the AMDGPU-PRO driver. With all three graphics cards the performance was much lower while with AMDGPU-PRO the R9 285 was locking up with 4K windowed Dota 2. The R9 Fury and RX 480 performance at 4K dropped below 60 FPS, but hopefully we'll see these numbers boosted with the continued work on RADV.
