The Performance Benefits To Running AMD's Radeon VII With Linux 5.0 + Mesa 19.0

Dota 2 on OpenGL did see a boost in performance since Mesa 18.3.

The Dota 2 Vulkan performance meanwhile has been pretty much flat, although that Vulkan performance puts it in line with the best OpenGL performance figures.

For Hitman, the peak frame times were lower on Mesa 19.0.

Rise of the Tomb Raider, a Vulkan powered native Linux game, picked up a few frames by running on the latest Linux driver code. This game on the Radeon VII also had stability issues on the older Mesa 18.2.

Thrones of Britannia sped up with Mesa 19.0.
