Radeon RX 560 Linux OpenGL/Vulkan Benchmarks
Overall the Radeon RX 560 when installed in this Core i7 7700K system had an overall AC power draw of a 108 Watt average with a peak of 169 Watts. In comparison, the GTX 1050 Ti average system power draw was 83 Watts with a peak of 145 Watts.
The Sapphire Radeon RX 560 4GB graphics card had an average operating temperature of 59°C with a peak of 72°C.
The Radeon RX 560 had performed very well in the Linux OpenGL games where RadeonSI is mature and does well overall with this open-source driver stack. But with the games where RadeonSI is still trailing NVIDIA, the Radeon RX 560 real-world Linux gaming performance left a lot to be desired. In the most severe cases, the RX 560 even slower than the GTX 950 series. In terms of performance-per-Watt, the Pascal-based GeForce GTX 1050 series is doing better. Overall though, if you are looking for a graphics card for about $100 USD and are pursuing open-source drivers, the Radeon RX 560 is a decent contender. If you want to squeeze out every possible FPS and don't mind proprietary drivers and just want a driver that "just works", the GeForce GTX 1050 series remain solid.
