The performance can vary quite a lot based upon if or how well an application has been tested and tuned for POWER, but at least many of these numbers are looking better than what we saw in the past when there was less POWER Linux testing happening by developers and thus not as much optimizations or effort in even ensuring the applications worked on the IBM architecture.
