Optane SSD RAID Performance With ZFS On Linux, EXT4, XFS, Btrfs, F2FS
XFS and F2FS continued their wins, this time with Compile-Bench.
The PostgreSQL rad-only performance turned out to be very slow with ZFS On Linux out-of-the-box while the in-tree Linux file-systems with MD RAID (sans Btrfs) were much faster.
With a mix of reads and writes to the PostgreSQL database server, XFS RAID0 maintained a slight first place finish over EXT4.
In the case of MariaDB/MySQL, ZFS On Linux was stuck in a hang for this benchmark. F2FS managed a narrow first place finish over EXT4 but without any RAID mode active.
