Right away with Nexuiz across the three distinctly different graphics cards tested, the NVIDIA 310 driver delivered significant improvements to the frame-rate over the current 304 stable series.

Even with the not demanding OpenArena game, performance improvements were found for each graphics card from this simple binary driver upgrade.

Unigine Heaven is one of the most demanding OpenGL demos available for Linux and here the NVIDIA R310 Linux driver was also successful in delivering better frame-rates. Again, this is with a stock configuration without toying with the experimental threaded GL option.
